Overview
Compass Associates is currently working with a growing Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation provider, spanning across the Essex, London, Oxfordshire, Yorkshire, Bedfordshire, Sussex and Surrey regions with over 180 beds in the UK.
Together, we are looking for a Centre Manager (Registered CQC Manager) to overlook a 20 bedded Alcohol and Drug Rehab service near the Kingston upon Thames area. The service has an excellent reputation in the South West London region.
As the Centre Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the rehab. You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team composed of a Lead Therapist, Senior Support Workers, etc. You will be overseeing the efficient delivery and development of the services, such as assessments, aftercare, extended care and primary programmes.
You will be working closely with the Operations Manager who has previously managed the service themselves in the earlier part of their career. Together you will ensure that the clients receive the best rehabilitation service they can receive.
Work Pattern
Monday to Friday, with expectations to be flexible depending on the needs of the service.
Location
The position is based in the outskirts of Leighton Buzzard and is commutable from Luton, Stevenage, Aylesbury, Watford, Toddington, Hitcham and surrounding areas.
Criteria
1. Level 5 (NVQ) Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care / working towards it.
2. Experience running a therapy-led service or a difficult Mental Health service.
3. Understanding of working within a multi-disciplinary team composed of Therapists and other clinicians.
4. Previous experience in a similar Substance Misuse or Rehab setting is desirable but not imperative.
5. Knowledge of the CQC regulations and standards.
6. Someone who is passionate about Substance Misuse and Addictions, approachable to both staff and clients.
7. Clear DBS.
Interview
2 stages: the 1st stage is a formal interview with the Operations Manager, which will be moral, scenario, and competency-based. If successful, this will be followed by a 2nd stage formal interview with the COO in Teams.
The role is paying up to £44,000 – £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
