Required for September 2025 Head of Art & Photography Main Scale or Upper Pay Scale TLR 2b Permanent Pensby High School is an 11-16 years co-educational secondary school and we are currently looking to employ a Head of Art to join our school, following the retirement of our successful and longstanding Head of Subject. Art is a real strength within the school, with results and pupil numbers consistently performing very well. We are committed to placing the development of teachers and therefore students' learning at the forefront of what we do. As a result, we are seeing a growth in the number of students across both key stage 3 and 4, with parents and students increasingly seeing the school as their first choice. Art is a very popular subject at Key Stage 4 and now has an even greater reach, with the addition of GCSE photography. New appointments are supported by a tailored coaching programme.
