The main purpose of this role is to ensure that all KION project contracts are completed on time, within budget, to the agreed scope and that they meet customers’ agreed specification. What we offer: Main Duties and Accountabilities Accountable for the Implementation of Projects in the UK&I for STILL and Linde Ensuring that all project contracts are completed on time, within budget, to the agreed scope and that they meet customers’ agreed specification Project Managers to cover all solutions (would be allocated according to skill set) After kick off, this team is responsible for all Project implementation Use of the HQ tool (KIRA) & close cooperation with Finance and Sales Support team From the initial handover meeting from either the Automation, racking or VNA team you will be responsible for installation until final sign off by the customer Develop project execution plan Develop and maintain detailed project programme Identify and mitigate risks Ensuring projects run on time and schedule until completion and project sign off Development of necessary risk assessments and method statements Clear documentation and ongoing communication with customers, internal and external stakeholders Managing any change requests and working with the sales team to manage any financial implications Controlling of 3rd party suppliers Auditing suppliers work and ensuring the required standards are met Working within the required standards for each product range Ensure any site activity is carried out safely and complies to all legislation Visit the customer as required during project Ensure key project milestones are completed with invoices issued and collected at the correct time Understand whether CDM regulations are applicable to any given project and manage accordingly Ensure necessary variation orders are quoted and orders received Performance Measures required in the position Health and Safety performance including zero accidents and lost time incidents during project execution Pre-sale against post sale variation in gross margin Project completion verses project plan (time) Customer satisfaction Variation orders achieved Interfaces Internal: Automation Sales team Storage Solution team VNA team (STILL & Linde) Sales support team Realisation team Finance team Procurement team Service team HQ External: 3rd party suppliers Customers Tasks and Qualifications: Required functional competencies / experience / qualifications Bachelor, Master or Diploma degree in engineering, logistics or similar education. A candidate with the relevant industry experience would be considered Good communication skills in English, further languages preferred Willingness to travel Robotics / mobile automation or VNA industry experience in a project management related role Several years’ experience working in the materials handling business An understanding of materials handling flows within warehouse operations Confident communicator to all levels of stakeholder both internally (e.g. Directors) and externally (e.g. customers) Being able to work autonomously IT Literate – including intermediate PowerPoint, MS Power Point and Excel and ideally Microsoft project Full driving license
