What the Job Involves Reporting to a Team Leader within the Children, Young People & Learning Directorate, your role involves delivering high-quality administrative support, prioritizing tasks according to team and service goals. Key responsibilities include note-taking at complex meetings, arranging events, coordinating panels, and managing information presentation. You will produce meeting minutes, prepare reports and agendas, handle confidential information, and update council IT systems. The position demands independent problem-solving, adherence to procedures, and careful handling of sensitive information. You will be required to process orders and invoices and maintain good relationships with colleagues to ensure a customer-focused service. This role is part-time (25 hrs/week), on-site based in Horsham, offering the opportunity to work across WSCC office hubs as needed. The initial contract is for three months, with a possibility of extension.
