Age Range: 5 to 16 years old The Learning Support Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting students with ASC and SEMH needs. Working closely with teachers, they will help deliver personalised learning plans, assist with social development, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment where every student can thrive. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and group support to students with ASC and SEMH, enabling them to engage with their learning. Assist in managing behaviour and supporting emotional well-being. Help students during activities and daily routines, ensuring a positive and supportive atmosphere. Support teachers in preparing learning resources and classroom activities. Collaborate with the wider team to monitor student progress and implement tailored strategies. About the Ideal Candidate: Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is desirable, but not essential.
