Registered Mental Health Nurses required (full and part time) to work in this modern mental health treatment unit. The unit includes a variety of facilities, such as three secure gardens, a gym, a hydrotherapy pool, patient practice kitchens, patient social area, art rooms and dedicated support service areas.
The service is currently being developed to provide bespoke treatment packages for a variety of patients with complex mental health needs. The unit will provide a modern, homely environment promoting independence, whilst employing an experienced multi-disciplinary team to oversee and support patient progress.
As a Staff Nurse you will be working within a team that includes a range of professionals. You will be central to providing high quality care within a locked, specialised mental health rehabilitation and recovery setting. The patient group consists of Personality Disorder, Learning Disability and Enduring Mental Illness.
You will work within an identified career development pathway and be expected to complete appropriate competency development portfolio.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Registered nurse with active NMC PIN
2. Relevant clinical experience
3. Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
4. Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice
5. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Day shifts - 07:30 to 19:45
Night shifts - 19:30 to 07:45
