Job summary We are delighted to be offering a permanent 0.75 wte (28 hours) position for a highly skilled and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our Childrens team within Powys Teaching Health Board. You will become our Clinical Lead for the complex needs service and will be responsible for leading and developing this service. Main duties of the job You will work within the Children's Speech and Language Therapy team providing highly specialist assessment, diagnosis and management of children with complex needs to support their communication and dysphagia needs. We are looking for someone who has strong clinical skills and has a clear vision for how we can meet the needs of children with complex needs within Powys. This role will include implementation and monitoring of recent guidance around ALN and transition. Work as an autonomous practitioner managing children with complex needs in a variety of settings. Provide training, education and supervision to staff. Contribute to the development of professional practice and the transformation and evaluation of service delivery. Work in partnership with service users and staff to achieve improved health outcomes for service users and develop clinical pathways. Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide expert patient centred care.
