( Due to the nature of our operations there will be times when 5 days a week in the office is required in the run up to Events, however during off-peak times 3 days would be sufficient.) Role profile Newmarket Holidays work with multiple Ocean and River cruise providers both as a retail agent and a tour operator, this is also an area where we expect to see real growth. We also operate a number of highly successful special events, including The Championships - Wimbledon, Andre Rieu concerts, the Edinburgh Tattoo and magical day trips to Lapland, which you may also be asked to be involved Therefore, we are predominantly looking for someone with a great understanding and knowledge of the cruise industry, including content, marketing and operations with fantastic organisational skills. The role involves dealing with multiple stakeholders, including external suppliers and internal customers to ensure we continue to improve and progress our ongoing cruise partnerships to maximise sales. Who we are looking for Experience in a similar or relevant travel role. Customer-focused team player who can build strong relationships internally and externally. Effective communicator both verbally and in writing who establishes good, collaborative working relationships with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail in numeracy and accuracy. Highly organised, able to multitask whilst working to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure. Problem-solver who questions processes in the desire to achieve efficiencies. Be an active participant in events at a customer facing level and willing to travel on business-related trips in the UK and overseas.
