Altrad is seeking a highly organised and proactive Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator to support the delivery of key training and development initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who is looking to build a career in Learning & Development within a dynamic and growing organisation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Talent Development Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting a range of L&D initiatives, including the management of Altrad’s Leadership Development Programmes. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to ensure high-quality learning experiences that support employee growth and organisational development.
This role is UK based with hybrid working and will require occasional travel to other locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership Programme Coordination: Oversee the full lifecycle of Altrad’s Leadership Development Programmes, building strong relationships with stakeholders, programme leads, mentors, and external partners.
* Strategic L&D Projects: Support the Talent Development Manager in delivering key L&D projects aligned with business objectives.
* Professional Development Support: Administer and monitor the Further Professional Education Scheme, providing guidance to employees and ensuring progress is tracked effectively.
* Training Coordination & Administration: Collaborate with the wider L&D team to plan, organise, and record all training in line with the annual training plan.
* Process & Policy Development: Assist in the review and enhancement of internal L&D policies, procedures, and administrative systems to drive efficiency and compliance.
* Employee Engagement & Communication: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote L&D opportunities across the organisation.
* Reporting & Insights: Provide regular updates and reports on L&D activities, participation, and impact to the HR team and wider business.
* L&D Intranet Management: Maintain and update content on L&D intranet pages, ensuring employees have access to up-to-date training resources and information.
About You
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented L&D professional with:
* Experience in Learning & Development, ideally within a corporate, industrial, or technical environment.
* Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* A proactive and adaptable approach, with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Proficiency in L&D systems, processes, and reporting.
