Cloud Architect/Infrastructure Cloud Manager required to work on the Cloud Tower within Service Delivery.
The Cloud Architect/Infrastructure Cloud Manager will be a subject matter expert in Azure plus GCP. With a strong architecture background, they will sit at governance level and be responsible for delivering Infrastructure Improvement Programmes with accountability for budgets up to £1 million and will be required to liaise with numerous stakeholders (via recognised governance forums).
The Cloud Architect/Infrastructure Cloud Manager may be called upon to support the delivery of major Infrastructure Improvement Programmes where the Senior Infrastructure Manager will provide strategic guidance.
Key Accountabilities
1. Processes, Procedures and Standards: Adhere to the Infrastructure Management procedures, processes and standards and ensure there is consistency across the towers and delivery of programmes.
2. Detailed Tower Profile: Where applicable, develop a detailed profile for your respective Infrastructure Tower. Profile to detail which components within your tower are under full vendor support and which are exposed (i.e. no redundancy or vendor support).
3. Contractual Commitments: Working with the Technology Supplier Management team, develop a clear understanding of the contractual commitments for your respective Infrastructure Tower.
4. Risk and Issues Log: Identify and report all risks and issues (provide severity and likelihood) related to your tower that are causing incidents and/or are having (or could have) an adverse effect on service performance.
