EKC Group is seeking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects within our six-college estate. The Capital Projects Team are currently working on two £6m Levelling up fund projects due to start construction in the coming months as well as a range of refurbishment projects across the Group. You’ll be supporting the Group Head of Capital Projects to establish the scope of a project, plan a budget and timeline, procure necessary resources, and coordinate teams working on the project. You will be responsible for ensuring that a project stays on schedule and within budget, and for anticipating and reacting to any potential changes, issues, or delays. You'll act as the first point of contact for questions about a project and will; be responsible for external communication with clients and stakeholders. You will be able to work towards deadlines within budget constraints. You will also have proven experience in M&E or construction design, as well as appropriate experience of participating in projects from start to finish, whilst realising key objectives, evaluating outcomes and finding solutions. You will be able to communicate effectively and lead by example, as well as forging strong productive partnerships with colleagues and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Ensure statutory compliance is maintained across all buildings. Oversee and update Planned and Preventative Maintenance (PPM) records. Coordinate maintenance schedules to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure high standards of estate management. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to uphold safety and quality. Requirements: Proven experience in estate and project management. Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and statutory compliance requirements. Excellent organisational, communication and project management skills.
