The Cancer Services team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking to recruit to a full time Administrator to support the Acute Oncology Service and wider Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist Team.

The post holder will provide a high quality administrative service to the Acute Oncology and wider Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist Team supporting the co-ordination of the non-clinical aspects of the service including scheduling/attending meetings with minute taking, data and office management as well as assisting and supporting the team with internal and external referrals.
There will also be a requirement to manage telephone enquiries, recording and prioritising messages highlighting them to the appropriate colleagues as required.
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.

The successful post holder will need to be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and have confidence in communicating with staff at all levels within the organisation as well as patients and families.
Proven administration skills and sound working knowledge of IT systems are essential. They will also be calm, highly motivated, flexible and organised.
