Job: Site Manager
Location: Site in the North West area
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience)
We've an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager, with previous experience of traditional build new build housing, to oversee construction of new build houses around the North West and Yorkshire.
About the Client
Our client is a prominent property development company specialising in creating exceptional living spaces that elevate communities. They work with housing providers and registered providers in Yorkshire & the wider north west, to help redevelop communities in the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure adherence to project time-lines, budget, quality standards, and safety regulations.
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to maintain efficient work-flow and productivity.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
* Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement construction schedules, resource allocation plans, and risk management strategies.
* Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and safety records.
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and problem-solving among project stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols, environmental regulations, and building codes.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully managing residential or commercial projects from start to finish.
* Has come from a trades background and will go above and beyond within the role and take strong initiative.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes, with the ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
* CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid, as minimum.
* Relevant additional certifications or qualifications in construction management, health and safety, or related fields are desirable.
