Who we are looking for
We require an enthusiastic and highly committed person who will be an excellent teaching assistant. The successful candidate will:
* Have English and maths GCSE equivalent at C+ or 4+ equivalent
* Have excellent organisation skills
* Be able to relate well to children and adults
* Be self-motivated, be able to work independently as well as working as part of a team
* Understand classroom roles and responsibilities
* Be able to work to policies and procedures
* Be able to support staff and students on aspects of the curriculum
* Be able to contribute to SEN team meetings and provision for students with SEN needs across the full ability range
* Be able to establish strong relationships with students and staff
* Model professional standards across all areas of work.
