Land Surveyor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Land Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting topographical and measured building surveys, creating 3D point cloud models, monitoring and performing setting out tasks. This role involves working with advanced surveying equipment and software to produce various types of surveys to our clients.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct topographical and measured building surveys.
* Perform setting out tasks for various construction and residential projects.
* Undertake monitoring on various sites.
* Operate GPS and other surveying equipment.
* Utilise surveying and CAD software to prepare detailed survey drawings.
* Collaborate with clients and the team to ensure project specifications are met.
* Travel to different sites as required; a company vehicle will be provided.
Qualifications:
* Qualification in surveying or a related field (preferred but not essential).
* Minimum of 2 years of experience.
* Proficiency in CAD & surveying software.
* Experience with Trimble equipment and laser scanning (preferred but not essential).
* Valid driver’s license.
Skills and Competencies:
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Working Conditions:
* Typical working hours: 40 hours per week
* Travel required to various sites; a company vehicle will be provided.
