Are you an experienced Credit Controller with a background in chasing local authority and NHS credit control? We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Credit Controller based in Borehamwood, with a strong potential for the role to become permanent.Key Responsibilities: Credit Control Management : Manage and maintain credit control processes, focusing on local authorities and NHS accounts. Chasing Outstanding Payments : Proactively chase overdue payments via phone, email, and letter. Account Reconciliation : Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of customer accounts. Invoice Queries : Resolve invoice disputes and queries in a professional and timely manner. Reporting : Provide regular updates to management on aged debt and cash collection performance. Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external. Requirements: Proven experience in credit control, particularly with local authorities and the NHS. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. Experience with credit control systems and financial software. Available to start immediately on a temporary basis with the potential for a permanent role.
