Environment Officer needed in Huddersfield Paying £18.53 per hr Ref 0009 728A /1 Full time hours on a temporary basis Take charge of ecological advice for planning applications, Local Plans, and policies. Key responsibilities include: Advising on pre-application discussions and biodiversity enquiries Providing expert guidance on Biodiversity Net Gain and using Biodiversity Metrics Drafting and developing legal agreements related to ecology Supporting the delivery of biodiversity net gain objectives Preparing written statements for planning and enforcement appeals Developing and improving the ecology service internally and externally Participating in partnerships to implement Biodiversity Net Gain and Local Nature Recovery Strategies Researching current issues and developments impacting the natural environment Developing reports and recommendations to support planning policies Handling applications and enquiries confidentially and in a timely manner Using IT systems to maintain accurate electronic case files If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verityessentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number.
