Main duties of the job We are seeking a proactive, compassionate, caring and recovery focused Occupational Therapy Assistant with excellent communication skills to join our existing dynamic multidisciplinary Local Mental Health Team. The post- holder will work alongside our experienced Occupational Therapist's to offer interventions that promote recovery, enabling patients to live their best life. To implement the high-quality Occupational Therapy intervention plans collaboratively with the patients in their own homes and local environments, alongside the qualified staff. Professional and clinical supervision will be provided by an identified Occupational Therapist. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010. Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change.
