Senior Document Controller
Murphy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Document Controller to join our water team in Nuneaton. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of contract documentation and computer records, driving innovation and efficiency in our document control processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the quality check process for documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of distribution lists, workflows, and review cycles.
* Verify the accuracy of filenames before submission of electronic files.
* Record the reason for change when documents are revised.
* Collate and issue project/site 'start-up' packs.
* Manage change by ensuring documents are processed correctly and made available to the commercial team.
* Collate and issue handover documentation (O&M manuals, H&S files, as-built records, databooks, completion packs, etc.).
* Develop and train document controllers and assistant document controllers.
* Provide Aconex training for project staff.
* Manage site scanning of documents and records, ensuring legibility and traceability.
* Assist with archiving of documents, ensuring legibility and traceability.
* Undertake audits/reviews as required.
* Monitor and report on DC team performance and workflows.
* Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices (BS1192 & PAS1192).
Requirements
* Working knowledge of Document Management Systems (ProjectWise, Hummingbird, BIW, and Aconex).
* Flexible and proactive approach with a can-do attitude.
* Confident in building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
