The Role Carnival UK is building an industry-leading Digital function dedicated to crafting exceptional experiences that delight our guests, fulfil our promise of holiday happiness, whilst driving substantial revenue growth. We want to empower our teams to deliver exceptional results, and the Assistant, eCommerce will play an important role in shaping the way we do this. The digital team is responsible for driving and maintaining the Cunard digital presence across the entire customer journey. The scope of the team's responsibilities includes commercial delivery, content, optimisation, UX and personalisation. Reporting to the Senior Executive, eCommerce, the Assistant, eCommerce supports campaigns across websites. This includes new cruise programmes, time-limited offers and special fare types. They will also be implementing trading and merchandising tactically across the sites. They will need to work cross-functionally with the wider digital, marketing, revenue management, IT and international teams to achieve this. You will: - To support the merchandising and campaign tactics to deliver revenue aligned to targets. - Work with IT and POLAR teams to ensure correct flags are set and correct promo codes are uploaded into the Staging Database. - Work with international teams to establish which approach would best meet their online needs for each planned campaign. - Support the Senior Executive with the delivery of new product launches on site globally. Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK14 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, including up to two days from home. Our marketing teams maximize opportunity and create focused, meaningful communications that help to grow existing audiences as well as appealing to new ones. We have experts across advertising, CRM, brand, PR, digital, loyalty and the creative studio who work together collaboratively to create unforgettable holiday happiness. Our sales teams develop and grow partnerships ensuring they have the finest knowledge of our products.
