Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
HLTA Opportunity | Modern Primary School in Camden | £100-£120 per day
About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced HLTA to join our vibrant school community as part of an expansion to our learning support team. Starting immediately, this full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact across both KS1 and KS2. You'll be primarily supporting our Year 3 classes, working with small intervention groups and providing whole-class cover when required. The role includes working with a diverse group of 26 students. The recruitment process involves a formal interview with the Head and SENCO, followed by a morning of observed activities with students. We encourage applications by February 28th, 2025, with interviews scheduled for early March.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging whole-class teaching during PPA cover
2. Plan and execute targeted intervention programs
3. Support assessment and progress monitoring
4. Collaborate with class teachers and SENCO
5. Lead extra-curricular activities
We're Looking For:
1. Qualified HLTA status (essential)
2. Proven KS1/KS2 teaching experience
3. Strong SEN support background
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Creative and adaptable approach
Requirements:
1. Enhanced DBS on update service
2. Recent primary school experience
3. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
4. Two professional references
