Customer Service Assistant (Based at Kendal)
Full time – 36.25 Hours
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, innovative, and confident individual during an exciting time of growth and continuous improvement within the Society.
You will play a crucial role in our Kendal branch, collaborating with colleagues to support a broad range of tasks within the team. You will also provide an efficient cashiering service to our customers.
The role will include:
• Supporting the Branch Manager in delivering Branch goals and sales targets by promoting the Society’s products and services.
• Promoting high standards of customer service, creating a genuine culture which puts our communities and members first.
• Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of Society controls, regulatory requirements, and codes of practice within the Branch.
We are passionate about creating a diverse workforce, desirable candidate criteria are below, though we will consider all applicants and training will be provided.
• Minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English at grade C/4 or above
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This role will be based at our Kendal Branch, but you will be required to support our Grange branch and the wider branch network when required. It is important that you are confident to act on your own initiative and make sound judgements based on your proven skills and experience.
