CNC Recruitment are seeking a digital-first, highly ambitious, and motivated Graphic Design Lead to drive the visual identity and brand communication of our client in Chard area – a prestigious engineering company.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in both digital and print design, with the ability to inspire and execute creative concepts that align with our business strategy. In this role you will be responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality, and engaging visual content across various online and offline platforms, including social media, websites, distributor networks, and printed materials. The ideal candidate will be both creative and strategic, ensuring the organisation maintains a compelling and cohesive brand presence across multiple channels while keeping up with the latest design trends and technologies.

Salary: Up to £35,000 per year (depending on experience and skills)
Working Week: 4-Day Week, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership:
* Drive the visual direction of the company brand, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
* Develop and maintain brand identity guidelines, evolving them as needed to keep the brand fresh and relevant.
* Present and communicate design concepts effectively, incorporating feedback to refine creative outputs.
Design Execution:
* Create high-quality, visually compelling designs for digital platforms including websites, email campaigns, social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube), and online advertising.
* Design print materials such as brochures, banners, packaging, and product identification materials.
* Oversee production and print quality, ensuring physical marketing materials meet brand standards.
Output Quality & Innovation:
* Ensure all design work is of the highest quality, adhering to brand guidelines and best practices.
* Stay ahead of design trends and emerging technologies, integrating new ideas that enhance digital engagement.
* Leverage the latest Adobe Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and AI tools where applicable for efficiency and innovation.
Collaboration & Project Management:
* Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to translate business objectives into compelling creative strategies and deliverables.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
* Ensure effective communication and coordination with both in-house teams and external distributor networks.
Documentation & Media Management:
* Maintain and update design processes and brand documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for the wider team.
* Organize and manage digital assets and media files for efficient use across projects.
Requirements
* 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong emphasis on digital design.
* B2B experience is preferred.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and other design software.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence across digital platforms.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to align creativity with business objectives.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
* Highly detail-oriented, ensuring designs are polished and meet quality standards.
* Strong project management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to create engaging digital content for product showcasing, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media assets.
