We have a requirement for a metal Fettler and Assembler to work for our established and global manufacturer client based in Grantham. This role is critical to the production process for cleaning and preparation of metal components ready for painting and priming for a smooth finish and assembling large components.
You will be required to:
• Clean down metal using hand sanders, grinders, electrical and manual tools.
• Remove weld splatter / grease / grime / rust and to get them prepared for painting.
• Wire brush and use cleaners wiping down to clean.
• Use hand tools for assembling larger metal pieces.
• Hammers, spanners, wrenches, electrical hand tools – must be comfortable and confident using these types of tools.
They are looking for a candidate with the right attitude, positive, keen and an interest in engineering. Looking for reliability and good attendance.
Benefits:
4-day week Monday to Thursday 7am – 5.15pm, overtime at time and half is available, weekly paid even when permanent, 25 days + 8 BH offered from Day 1 of starting, pension, free parking, good location, PPE provided.
This is a temporary to permanent role for the right person.
