We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Director to work on a nuclear construction site in Leiston.
The project will involve Network Implementation at a large regulated construction site.
Experience Required: Extensive experience with NEC Type C contract delivery.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
Lead and manage the entire network implementation project from inception to completion.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
Project Planning & Execution:
Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Oversee the procurement process, including supplier and subcontractor management.
Contract Management:
Ensure compliance with NEC Type C contract requirements.
Manage contract variations, claims, and disputes effectively.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Implement robust quality control procedures to meet stringent industry standards.
Ensure adherence to all safety, regulatory, and environmental guidelines.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and community representatives.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
Develop contingency plans to address potential project challenges.
Financial Oversight:
Monitor project finances, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
Report on financial performance, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

This role falls outside IR35.
The role will be site-based 5 days per week during the initial set up with hybrid working to follow in time.
