When Hayley is feeling scared, she will strike out at those closest to her.
She is looking for someone who can hold the boundaries even when she is pushing against them. Someone who has some skill and knowledge around working with a label of challenging behaviour and someone who has a good level emotional intelligence not to take things personally if Hayley takes against you. You need to be someone resilient, someone who will keep coming back no matter what she says or does. You must be someone who understands that because of Hayley's life experiences, she needs time to build trust.
