This is an exciting opportunity for someone with event and engagement experience to play a critical role in our ambition to engage 1 in 4 people to take action for nature in Wiltshire and Swindon. This is a new role for the Trust to help us achieve this strategic goal.

Reports to: Director of Fundraising and Engagement
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week Monday to Friday with evening and weekend hours expected
Based at: Elm Tree Court, Devizes with some home working available. There will be some travel around the county depending on events being held.
This role will be responsible for managing the staff and facilities at our two flagship reserves, both with cafes and event spaces, and ensuring an exceptional visitor experience through growth in engagement and income generation. The post holder will work closely with our Engagement Manager who oversees our Volunteers and the wider Fundraising and Engagement Directorate which includes Communications and Marketing.
The successful candidate will be innovative, creative, confident, and able to seize the initiative, working calmly under pressure to manage events and campaigns across the county. We are seeking a commercially minded individual who can strike a balance between income generation and engagement. We are looking for a strong and diplomatic communicator who can inspire and help diversify audiences through events, campaigns, and enhancing the visitor experience. The appointee will be a good relationship builder and multitasker, with management experience.
