Main duties of the job
The role of Emergency Department Assistant is to support the clinical care of patients within the Emergency Department and to prepare clinical areas to receive patients.
1. Cleaning equipment
2. Re-stocking equipment
3. Serving refreshments
4. Assisting with patients' basic care needs
5. Communicating with patients and their friends/families
