Job Overview:
Check Fire + Security are currently looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager with strong operational and people skills to join our dynamic team in Bury. You will be responsible for the day-to-day service operations and management of a team of engineers. Experience in the industry is preferred but not essential, if you have experience managing a team of engineers.
Established in 2019, Check Fire + Security are a relatively new company to the fire and security industry with fresh ideas and looking to bring some much-needed innovation to the sector. New doesn’t necessarily mean without experience. Our expert senior management team have a combined experience of over 60 years in the security, fire safety and compliance sector. This role will provide you with the exciting opportunity to assist with shaping and developing a key division within a continuously expanding company.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Management of a team of 15 engineers, conducting performance reviews, engineer audits and setting targets.
2. Monitoring engineers’ activity throughout the day to ensure job completion.
3. Ensure that all job reports are returned by engineers in a timely manner.
4. Build relationships with clients to assist with growth and opportunities for the company.
