Job Purpose: To manage all deliveries in and out, assisting commercial team when required, logistic, office and property maintenance.
The Role – Office based
• Deliveries
o Deliveries in: will involve unpacking to ensure that the product isn’t damaged, materials are correct against purchase orders, quantities are correct, reporting any issues to the project manager or senior management.
o Deliveries out: packaging and logging on to our courier portal for collection, some deliveries will be made in our own vehicle.
• Maintenance
o Van to be kept clean, fuelled, and in good working order including arranging services and MOT
o Property, general cleaning, tidying, keeping the front of the office clear and free from encroaching on the footpath.
o General handy-man works.
• General (when required)
o Assisting project manager with quantity take off
o Drafting delivery notes
o Limited administration work when required
o Local site surveys to assist PM’s
The Person
• Full and Clean Driving Licence with experience of driving commercial vehicles (locally/motorways/major cities)
• Basic IT skill & good communication
• Will to be part of a team environment
• Willing to assist project managers when required
Salary & Benefits
• Part time position, two full days per week. 8am to 5pm. (Possible Overtime)
• Holiday entitlement in line statutory guidance
• Day Rate
