As a Business Development Executive (BDE) at Evanta, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining, cultivating, and growing our sponsorship business. The role is an opportunity to work with some of the most innovative companies and thought leaders in the world. You will be responsible for retaining and expanding current clients while also targeting major high-tech enterprise accounts to expand our sponsorship portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cultivate Relationships: Engage with C-level/RVP Marketing and Sales executives to understand their unique challenges and demonstrate how Evanta’s sponsorship opportunities can provide value.
* Expand Business: Identify and onboard new sponsors, expanding our reach and influence within the industry.
* Client Retention & Cultivation: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty. Ability to work as an internal team player partnering in synergy with our community and client service partner teams to make sure the clients goals are being achieved.
* Influence Senior Decision Makers: Influence and educate C-Level/Senior Decision makers on sales and marketing strategy.
* Strategic Growth: Discuss, develop and implement annual C-level marketing strategies to support their annual growth goals.
* Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and provide strategic insights to clients.
What You’ll Need:
* Proven track record in senior sales, preferably in media, conferences, or high technology (services, software, or hardware).
* Ability to build and manage relationships with C-level and senior-level executives within medium and large organizations.
* Demonstrated intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
* Proven experience in building excellent client relationships and providing strategic insights into their business.
* Strong computer proficiency and excellent written and oral/presentation skills.
* Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations with contract decision-makers (C-level).
* Bachelor’s degree with strong evidence of success in school; a Master’s or advanced degree is a plus.
