JOB DESCRIPTION – Autism Teaching Assistant:
1. SEN Teaching Assistant
2. Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis (ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and more)
3. Liaising with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding the progress of children
4. Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for children
5. Delivering specialist interventions
6. Liaising with the school’s therapists
7. September 2024 Start – Full Time
8. £90 - £100 per day
9. Located in the Borough of Richmond
PERSON SPECIFICATION – Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant:
10. SEN Teaching Assistant
11. Experience in supporting children (3-11) with SEN – Autism, ADHD, SEMH – Ideal
12. Childcare-related experience, ideally with an SEN focus - Essential
13. You MUST be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable
14. A hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements
