Ready to design your future with Novatech?
We’ve got a pretty special opportunity to join our Novatech IT Team as a Graphic Designer who has web skills!
If you love tech and you’re a bit of a digital age Picasso, this is the perfect role for you.
A bit about the role:
You'll be the guardian of our visual identity, shaping brand content while honouring our 38-year history. You'll design and maintain our websites, using analytics to drive UI/UX improvements, and collaborate with external partners to maximise ROI on SEO and PPC campaigns.
You'll also coordinate with managers to deliver the visuals for digital and print campaigns, creating landing pages, and managing print production. Your creativity will shine in designing exhibition graphics, email templates, campaign ideas, and instructional videos. Ensuring all artwork is brand-compliant will be key for Partner funding claims.
You will need to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors, continually developing your skills and knowledge of new technologies. Your design expertise will also be utilised in creating spec sheets, proposals, quotes, and tenders.
What we're looking for:
We're looking for a creative with experience in using InDesign, Adobe, and other relevant tools, who also has a solid background in UI/UX, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, to make the website look pretty.
A strong portfolio showcasing proven industry experience in design is essential, with the ability to create impressive visuals that make people say, Wow! and occasionally, Blimey!
Excellent communication skills are a must, as you'll need to work collaboratively with others, ask the right questions, and deliver to brief. You'll also need strong organisational skills, as you'll be managing multiple projects and working to varying deadlines, including the occasional tight turnaround.
We need someone who enjoys working independently, as you'll be the only in-house Graphic Designer, with the motivation to keep developing skills and knowledge to keep up with industry trends. Experience in the technology industry would be ideal, and a passion for tech is preferred, as we love it when people get excited about our products!
What working here means for you:
There are heaps of other perks when working for us! For starters, we’re a top 100 company to work for in the South East, as voted by our amazing staff via the Best Companies engagement survey.
We jam to music while we work and embrace a non-corporate vibe. We believe that when you can be your authentic self, whilst working with some cool people, that you enjoy your work more and take greater pride in what you do.
We’re all about your wellbeing and regularly organise team events, employee awards, and charity dos. We also care about the environment and have won awards for our efforts, which include being a net positive business (meaning we put more energy back into the grid than we use – which we are super proud of!)
