Responsibilities
* Provide support to students with challenging behaviour in an educational setting.
* Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies as directed by the SENCO or teacher.
* Work one-on-one or in small groups to help students develop social and emotional skills.
* Observe and report on student behaviour patterns and progress to the relevant school staff.
* Support the overall well-being and safety of students during school hours.
Minimum Requirements
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
* Welsh language - desirable.
Desired Qualifications
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desired).
* Training in positive behaviour support or similar approaches.
Working Conditions
* Work primarily during school hours.
* May involve some outdoor activities or physical intervention in certain situations.
* Collaboration with teachers, SENCO, and other school staff.
