About the Roundhouse:
Roundhouse is an iconic music and arts venue in Camden. Since the 1960s we’ve opened up space for creativity to empower people and communities – day in, night out. We’re on a mission to raise the creative potential of the UK so we give young people and artists the space to experiment, develop skills and be part of incredible moments that go down in history.
The Role:
This month, we launched a brand new annual festival at the Roundhouse which will take place in April 2025. ROUNDHOUSE THREE SIXTY is about pushing boundaries and creating a series of unforgettable events. For one epic month, the Festival will serve up a mix of music, spoken word, club nights, theatre, visual arts and podcasts, including Roundhouse alumnus and BAFTA winner Jack Rooke’s SHOW HOLE, a club-cum-cabaret-cum-comedy night, SHERELLELAND, a cheap-ticket rave curated by DJ Sherelle, and Roundhouse Song Circle with performances by singer-songwriter Tom Odell alongside Roundhouse Resident Artists.
The Festival Assistant Producer is a fixed term role focused on supporting the delivery of the full ROUNDHOUSE THREE SIXTY programme. A core part of the Artistic Programme team, you’ll work closely with the Producer, Senior Producer and Executive Producer to ensure the smooth-running and collaborative delivery of all the events. The Festival Assistant Producer will work with colleagues across the Roundhouse, artists, their teams, and our external partners, such as Longplayer, Vogue Rites, the Philharmonia Orchestra, Future Talent and the National Youth Orchestra, in order to facilitate and help bring together a series of unforgettable moments in our Main Space and across the Roundhouse site.
Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs.
About you:
The Festival Assistant Producer position is an excellent opportunity for an organised and enthusiastic person with a passion for the arts, culture and inclusion. This is a varied role and perfect for someone looking to get stuck in, to hone their producing skills and to learn about running a multi-arts festival which champions the talent and creativity of young people alongside world-class artists.
We encourage those currently underrepresented across the cultural sector and all intersections of our diverse society to apply. We welcome applications from people who feel they can bring their own skills, experiences and ideas to the table and empower those around them to do the same.
