Function
The Systems Engineering team is the backbone of this company's project success, offering technical expertise from bid to full development. As a Principal Systems Engineer, you'll ensure projects meet technical, regulatory, and quality standards, enhance engineering practices, and help drive innovation across the company.
What You’ll Do:
1. Lead Systems Engineering for projects, meeting obligations on time and budget.
2. Develop and Oversee Technical Solutions for complex engineering challenges.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional architects to ensure modular, reusable, top-tier design.
4. Engage with Customers and Suppliers to meet objectives and secure successful outcomes.
5. Drive Technical Proposals with accurate estimates to support winning bids and contracts.
6. Mentor Junior Engineers and act as a go-to technical resource for complex issues.
7. Present Design Reviews to senior management and clients, showcasing our technical capabilities.
8. Enhance Systems Engineering Practices to grow our team's impact and expertise.
Your Expertise:
1. Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience in Systems Engineering (requirements, design, V-Model).
3. Strong technical leadership and hands-on expertise in hardware, software, or firmware.
4. Skilled in DOORS, UML, SEBoK, and SysML, with excellent technical documentation abilities.
5. Eligibility for SC security clearance (DV desirable).
