About the role:
Opportunity to progress social work career with an opportunity to be a Senior Social Worker within the Carlisle Long Term Team Interventions Team in Adult Social Care. Supporting colleagues and individuals to work in a strengths-based, person-centred approach to assess care needs and undertake support planning in a variety of settings, whilst also undertaking other statutory responsibilities and supporting in relation to risk assessment and management and undertaking court work as required. Candidate should have or be willing to undertake further training to enable them to complete Best Interests Assessor role, Practice Educator role or Approved Mental Health Professional role.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with a Adults Barred List check.
