Interim EUD Engineer - ICT Services

Pay Rate £193.15 per day PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 6 months
City: Portsmouth

The role of an End User Device (EUD) Engineer is to ensure the quality of the service provided is of a high standard providing the customer with an excellent experience and delivering within the agreed Service Level Agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide an excellent customer experience to the forces user base, providing the support in line with business impact to reduce the impact of any service disruption to the forces.
Troubleshoot and resolve EUD incidents, requests and problems within the agreed Service Level Agreement’s, identifying any patterns and trends within the EUD services taking proactive measures to raise as problems.
Ensure the EUD Senior Engineer is aware of any changes required to documentation and knowledge articles.
Support the schedule of moves, projects, events and tech provides providing a proactive service.
Deliver services to the agreed Key Performance Indicators, User Experience Agreements and Service Level Agreements.
Follow the processes and procedures which are put in place with a strong focus on asset management governance.
Identify any service improvements within the EUD service delivery highlighting to EUD Senior Engineers.
Qualifications:
ITIL V3 Foundation or ITIL V4 equivalent desirable.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Previous experience working in ICT operational delivery.
Proven experience of supporting Windows 10, smartphones, laptops and desktops.
Previous experience of resolving incidents, requests and problems.
Proven experience of identifying and delivering service improvements.
Proven experience of creating procedure and knowledge base documentation.
Experience with general desk side support and physical Desktop PC installations.
Experience with a previous large scale Windows migration project a plus.
Experience with SCCM builds or MEM Builds.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills.
Full UK driving licence required for this role.
