Exciting Opportunity for a Band 5 Radiotherapy Admin Team Leader!
We are seeking an experienced and confident individual to lead our Radiotherapy Assistant & Radiotherapy Scheduling Teams. Patient administration underpins the patient journey and supports clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care. Effective and efficient patient administration supports management through ensuring a high standard of data quality and by making the best use of capacity and resources.
The purpose of this role is to support radiotherapy operations by managing the team which undertakes administration and clinical tasks to the highest professional standards, working with Medical, Radiographic, Physics, and other administrative colleagues.
Main duties of the job
* The post holder has responsibility for the provision of a professional, comprehensive, and efficient administrative and radiotherapy assistant service to all patients and members of the Radiotherapy Department.
* The post holder will be expected to play a key role in the leadership and support of the radiotherapy scheduling team and radiotherapy assistant team to ensure the provision of a high-quality and patient-focused service within the Oxford Cancer Centre.
* The Radiotherapy Administration Team Leader will operationally manage the Patient Administration and Assistant team within the Radiotherapy Department, working closely with the Radiotherapy Operational Manager & radiotherapy section leads in the development of the service.
* The post holder will provide day-to-day support to aid the smooth running of the department administrative team and assist with the management of the Radiotherapy Assistants.
