Hours of work: 40 Hours per week - Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
Package: Basic Salary £26,000 (dependent on experience) & Bonus and other company benefits

The Company
GWP, one of the UK's leading packaging manufacturers, are looking for an Internal Sales Estimator to join our established team. You will become part of a business established for more than 30 years, with a strong history of producing sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging. Being part of Macfarlane PLC (the UK's largest packaging distributor) and experiencing strong growth over the past three years.
The Internal Sales Estimator Role
The Internal Sales Estimator role is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation and become a valued member of a small and conscientious sales team. We are looking for an individual who has sound numerical and organisational skills and the drive to contribute towards our sales target.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, your role will involve the following activities: Manage customer enquiries and requests, ensuring that all communications are professional, polite and productive.
Demonstrate you can deliver excellent customer service.
Taking ownership of enquiries from customer briefs, to produce accurate estimates using bespoke software applications (full training will be provided)..
Co-ordinating each stage of the enquiry process from brief and design through to the order and delivery.
Following up on quotes in a timely manner to achieve orders.
Prioritising own workload with attention to detail and multi-tasking.
What you will bring
If you have any or all of the following skills and experience, you will be a good fit for this position. However, if you have similar experience working within a sales / customer service environment and can demonstrate transferrable skills, please get in touch. Communication skills to provide a close rapport with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
High level of numeracy and literacy.
The ability to follow correct procedure and process.
Be well presented and punctual.
Experience on the following machines / areas could be advantageous: The ability to read, understand and discuss technical drawings both with customers and colleagues (training provided to successful candidate).
