As Forter continues its rapid growth trajectory, the Regional Director of Sales will be responsible for managing and building a team of Enterprise and Strategic Account Executives in the United Kingdom. This role will help define Forters new business sales strategies and further growth in the Northern Europe region.
What youll be doing:
1. Carry a team quota; regularly meet and/or exceed sales goals
2. Define and execute sales plans and strategies, including specific account plans
3. Define named accounts and establish relationships with decision makers
4. Hire, recruit, mentor and develop top enterprise sales talent across territories
5. Develop and own the sales funnel, continuously optimizing every step
6. Define new processes to increase overall productivity
7. Provide regular pipeline and forecast reporting
8. Keep abreast of competition and industry trends
9. Communicate proactively with management, customers and support staff
10. Participate in team-building and company growth activities including strategy setting and training
11. Travel to customer locations in designated territories to support sales efforts
What youll need:
1. At least 10 years of complex enterprise sales experience, selling into major logos in eCommerce, Retail, Travel & Hospitality, and/or similar industries
2. 5+ years of enterprise sales management experience is essential
3. Experience working for a high growth software company
4. Proven success in selling innovative solutions/services to merchants/enterprises is a must; with a focus on FinTech and eCommerce solutions (analytics, platforms, financial and/or technology solutions)
5. A strong network with a proven track record of enterprise sales within top 500 eCommerce companies is a big plus
6. Superb interpersonal and communication skills
7. Ability to influence, train and motivate others
8. Prior success building and leading a sales team and its corresponding revenue targets, and experience developing/executing a plan to achieve goals
9. Comfortable with a fast-paced, scale-up environment
10. Comfortable and familiar with cross-functional collaboration
11. Energy, enthusiasm, and love of selling
