Legal Advisor / Paralegal - Cardiff / Hybrid

A leading legal expenses insurer is keen to appoint Legal Advisors / Paralegals to join their In-House Legal Helpline department. These are brand-new roles due to the organic growth of the department. This organization is also linked to a Law Firm, and so long-term prospects are very much a reality - some of the current Legal Advisors / Paralegals are undertaking training contracts.
This role is very much advisory and will be suitable for LPC graduates and those with strong customer service experience outside the legal sector. You will join a supportive and fun environment that encourages dedication and hard work while also offering opportunities for personal and professional development.
Initially, you will focus on employment law, contract law, landlord and tenant, as well as property matters via the firm's training programme.
As a Legal Advisor, you will be:
* An LLB or LPC/BPTC graduate (or currently studying), keen to work in a collaborative team environment.
* Prepared to embrace the firm's values and live these in your day-to-day working life.
* Able to demonstrate commercial awareness when giving advice.
* Committed to and able to demonstrate excellent customer service and technical skills.
The role will see you work Monday to Friday from 9 am - 5:30 pm, with one week out of four working from 11:30 am - 8 pm. You will also receive a weekday in lieu as you are required to work one Saturday out of four. There are opportunities to work overtime, providing a chance to increase your annual salary.
