As our Events and Marketing Manager, you’ll provide crucial marketing and sales support, helping to position our innovative rail solutions at the forefront of the industry. With exciting projects like Thameslink, the Deep Tube Upgrade Programme, and the construction our cutting edge Goole Rail Village, this is a transformative time for the rail sector. If you’re passionate about managing impactful events, creating compelling marketing campaigns, and delivering results that matter, this role is for you. You’ll make an impact by: Planning and executing events such as exhibitions, trade fairs, industry awards ceremonies, and roadshows to showcase our products and solutions. Supporting the development and execution of the Rolling Stock and Customer Services marketing plan, ensuring alignment with business goals. Creating high-quality marketing content, including collateral for campaigns, go-to-market product launches, and customer-focused solutions such as product USPs and webcasts. Crafting compelling presentations, marketing literature, and meeting briefs to support the sales function in effective customer engagement. Conducting customer and competitor analyses to keep strategies informed by the latest market insights. Acting as a CRM Super-User, championing customer relationship management initiatives for the Sales Team. Working closely with UK and international colleagues to deliver consistent and impactful messaging. Your success will be grounded by: Proven expertise in marketing and sales, supported by a degree (or equivalent experience) and a strong background in diverse marketing disciplines, from content creation to event management. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including impactful copywriting. Project management skills and the ability to prioritise activities to deliver multiple initiatives on time and within budget. The ability to thrive in a matrix organisation, working independently or as part of a team while promoting an ownership culture. Technical proficiency with CRM tools and a strong understanding of finance and compliance requirements. Knowledge of the UK rail industry, which, while not essential, will give you a head start in this role.
