Logistics Team Member and Class 2 Driver

Role
As a Logistics Team Member, you will provide an efficient, effective, and customer-oriented logistics service to the business. You will process material requests by liaising with internal customers and external suppliers and assist in the effective control and delivery of logistics inventory. Flexibility in tasks requested by Team Leaders is essential, following appropriate training.
Responsibilities
1. Take delivery of goods and supplies.
2. Check for damaged or missing items.
3. Store goods appropriately.
4. Pick and pack orders for dispatch.
5. Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck.
6. Load goods for dispatch.
7. Input data regarding stock and inventory into the SAP ERP system (Training Provided).
8. Keep accurate stock records.
9. Carry out weekly stock counts locally and across the network as required.
10. Keep paperwork up to date.
11. Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of products is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
12. Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
13. Handle any hazardous materials appropriately.
14. Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency.
15. Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value.
Other Duties
Assisting with general office administration, including updating inventory systems and maintaining necessary document control systems.
What you'll bring

5. Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
6. Flexible approach and ability to prioritise tasks.
7. Developed skills using Microsoft Office Packages (Word and Excel).
8. Familiarity with SAP, Plant and Circuits, Business Objects (Not critical).
9. Valid Clean driving license (Class 2 preferable but not required).
10. Preferably Experience operating forklift trucks (counterbalance + Reach).
Minimum Criteria
1. Full Valid Class 2 driving licence.
2. Good Telephone Manner.
3. Excellent Time Management skills.
4. Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
5. Developed skills using Microsoft Office Packages.
6. Flexible approach and ability to prioritise tasks.
Advantageous Criteria
1. Forklift Driving License/Experience.
2. Previous Logistics/Warehouse environment exposure.
