Are you a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's life? We're seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join us as soon as possible and work with a Year 2 child in need of support until the end of the academic year.
About the Role Location: Burton upon Trent
Hours: 18 hours per week, Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:10 pm – 3:10 pm
Friday: 1:10 pm – 3:10 pm
Contract Duration: Until the end of the academic year (with meet-and-greet sessions beforehand).
You will be working one-on-one.
What We're Looking For We're searching for a TA who is:
Qualified: At least Level 2 trained.
Experienced: Skilled in working with children with challenging and dysregulated behavior.
Knowledgeable: Experienced with trauma, or has completed CPD around trauma, or is PACE-trained.
Calm Under Pressure: Proficient in de-escalation techniques.
Empathetic: Able to adopt an emotion coaching approach to support the child's emotional needs.
