We are the largest provider of repairs and maintenance, and regeneration services across the UK. Mears provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm's Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.
About the Role:
As a Planner, you will be working in a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community. This local contract covers Redbridge council within the social housing sector.
A Planner within our Ilford branch will be responsible for admin duties, WIP management, taking and receiving calls, responding to emails, raising repairs, planning works, ensuring operatives have a full diary of jobs every day, and liaising with operatives and sub-contractors to ensure all follow-on work is planned if operatives need to return to site.
Day to Day Duties:
* Answering client & internal calls and emails.
* Planning work for the in-house operatives and sub-contractors.
* Administration of compliance checks and visits.
* Housekeeping of internal MCM system.
* General administration duties.
* Mandatory training and compliance.
Role Criteria:
* Previous experience working in a call centre.
* Experience with planning works.
* Good communication skills.
* Team player.
