The Role
Firms personal tax services cater to a diverse client base, encompassing sole traders, partnerships, company directors, High Net Worth individuals, and self-employed consultants, operating across various sectors. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the current management framework to drive growth and development, help oversee the department.
* Assist in Client Portfolio Management.
* Examine the taxation matters of personal tax clients and offer technical guidance when needed, both to clients and staff.
* Supervise and direct assignments to ensure the timely submission of filings and compliance with associated deadlines.
* Oversee the team activities, delegating tasks as necessary, and ensuring efficient work delivery and target attainment.
* Contribute to departmental management and administration, including conducting staff appraisals and addressing general staff issues.
* Coach, support, supervise, and train team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
* Play a role in the development and management of the department.
Experience
* Previous experience within Public Practice firm.
* Demonstrated ability in supervision and exceptional communication skills.
* Excellent experience and background in Personal/Private Client Tax.
* CTA, ATT, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is desired.
* Client focussed.
