Access have partnered with an independent SME Geotechnical and Environmental contractor who are looking to add a Regional Manager to their ranks in the South East. Our client has around 100 team members covering the entirety of the UK, with offices in Scotland, Northumberland and the South east of England. They are currently working on some of the largest civil engineering and environmental projects across the UK. Due to a positive change of circumstances, this role has opened up providing the ideal candidate the perfect challenge to drive a business forward.
Our client is in a unique position to be able to offer a lengthy and educational transition period between the successful applicant and the current Director. The ideal candidate will be expected to shadow our client’s current Director for the short term, learning how our client works, understanding the company culture and fully assimilate the business as a whole. The successful applicant will be involved from day one in both operational engineering management and mentorship, as well as commercial development and growth by contributing to tendering and bidding processes.
To be successful in this role applicants should:
1. Have experience in a Principal or Associate level Geology Engineering position
2. Have strong interpersonal skills
3. Have the right to live and work in the UK
4. Be a Chartered Engineer
5. Be located or able to locate in the South East of England
