Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced One-to-One Teaching Assistant to support a Year 9 student with an EHCP for Autism Spectrum Condition and ADHD. You will provide both academic and emotional support, helping the student succeed in school.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-to-one support tailored to the student's EHCP.
2. Assist with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation.
3. Offer academic support in core subjects such as Maths and English.
4. Work closely with teachers to track progress and adapt learning strategies.
5. Support the student's interaction with peers.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
6. Experience working with Autism Spectrum Condition and ADHD.
7. Patience, resilience, and strong communication skills.
8. Ability to work closely with the student, parents, and teaching staff.
9. Understanding of EHCP processes.
