Sustaining, upgrading and exploiting current CIS infrastructure in support of NB outputs, in coordination with Defence Digital (DD) and Navy Digital (ND). Executing CIS infrastructure delivery across the MOD estate at HMNB Devonport and HMS Drake, working collaboratively and in partnership with key stakeholders to maintain collegiate networks and relationships to successfully deliver CIS service and infrastructure changes. Interfacing with the HMNB Devonport DD Customer Manager & Site Coordinating Installation Design Authority (SCIDA) to assist the CIS Project Management Office (PMO) with technical planning, prioritising and deconflicting of project work against NB output. Ensuring that existing and new structured cabling infrastructure is used efficiently, complies to MOD standards (JSP453 Part 4 Defence ICT Installation Standard) for CIS, information security, design, compliance and safety and does not compromise Nuclear and Non-Nuclear safety. Assisting with setting and maintaining the CIS programme vision, strategy and roadmap to enable delivery of a critical CIS infrastructure regeneration programme and investment to bring the CIS structured cabling capability back to a level commensurate with that necessary to effectively support operational output across the Devonport site. Undertake infrastructure delivery, design and architecture related structured cabling activities involving regular interfacing with the CIS PMO team to ensure successful delivery throughout all stages of the project lifecycle. Ensuring security, safety resilience and coherent working practices across the Devonport site by engaging key CIS IPs and their contractors. Representing the NB Commander (NBC) and CIS for all CIS related issues, establishing an effective relationship with all key stakeholders, specifically with DD and ND and their subcontractors. Raising, identifying and mitigating CIS network risks across the Devonport Site as agreed with the CIS IOM. Ratifying user requirements and producing high-level solution options with a recommended course of action to enable informed decision making. Ensuring that all CIS Infrastructure Operations delivery aligns with the associated CIS programme vision, strategy and roadmap (unless explicitly agreed as an exception / tactical measure).
